Description:
The blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel and clay tempered. It's unokubi zukuri, the thickness on the back becomes thinner from the half of the blade towards the tip, but the back turns to thick near the kissaki. There's no yokote. Tsuka is made of hardwood and wrapped with genuine rayskin and synthetic silk ito. The saya is made of hardwood, the color and wood veins are natural. Koiguchi is polished buffalo horn. The tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are made of copper and with dragon motif.
This hand-forged Japanese katana sword features a blade length carefully crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, with a Shobu-Zukuri shape and a distinctive Choji Hamon pattern. The blade undergoes a precise heat treat process to enhance its strength and durability, making it a functional and beautiful piece of traditional craftsmanship.
