Description:

A naginata is a Japanese pole katana whose blade has a lot of similarities with that of a katana in terms of forging process and shape. Naginata were used by the samurai, foot soldiers (ashigaru), warrior monks (sohei) and female warriors from noble families (onna-bugeisha). Its long reach makes it an effective manner against mounted enemy or cavalry and against opponents armed with a sword.

The naginata, a traditional Japanese pole weapon, is a remarkable example of long swords used during the Edo period and earlier. Its curved blade reflects the craftsmanship and design shared with the katana, making it a high-quality choice for both close combat and long-range engagements.
