The blade is full tang and made of 1095 high carbon steel, it can be used on hard targets without compromising its edge. It's clay tempered, so it has a beautiful and natural hamon. It has a bohi running from the habaki to the kissaki, making the blade lighter. The tsuka is made of hardwood, wrapped with white genuine rayskin and brown, synthetic silk ito. The saya is made of roseood, the wood grains and color are natural. Kojiri, koiguchi and kurigata are made of real buffalo horns. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of copper.
